Sorcha Aisling O’Regan is a soprano hailing from Dublin, Ireland. A recent Masters graduate from the TU Dublin Conservatoire of Music and Drama, studying under the tuition of Mairead Buicke, Sorcha made her professional operatic debut in August 2025 performing the role of Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen in Opera in the Open, and Loughcrew Opera Festival. Later that month, she made an further role debut as Galatea in Handel’s Acis and Galatea, also in Dublin City Council’s Opera in the Open.

In the Summer of 2025, Sorcha sang in the Montefeltrio Festival 2025, Italy. There, she studied with Ubaldo Fabbri and performed in the Voci Irlandesi Vibranti Belcanto concert in a celebration of Irish voices and Bel Canto. She subsequently travelled to Edinburgh to study, record and perform with industry experts in the Opera Caledonia Vocal Studio Course 2025.

During her studies in TU Dublin Conservatoire, Sorcha made her operatic debut as Cleopatra in Handel’s Giulio Cesare with the TU Dublin Opera Ensemble. She interpreted Massenet’s Manon in a semi-staged concert production entitled ‘Love, Actually’, also at the Conservatoire. Most recently, Sorcha performed as Gretel in an extended scene from Humperdink’s beloved Hansel and Gretel with TU Dublin, in a production lead by Swedish director Mira Bartov, and designed by Slawek Narwid.

In addition to opera, Sorcha has a wealth of experience in recital performance and Oratorio. She recently performed alongside pianist Orlaith Sharkey in a recital at the 2025 Boyle Arts Festival, and another in St Ann’s church in Dublin. She also enjoyed performing alongside Dr Sandra Oman, Simon Morgan, David Wray and Ciara Smith in ‘Another Lunchtime at the Opera’ for Sheldon Nutly Music at the National Concert Hall, Dublin.
